Great show!

This was my 2nd time seeing Yellowcard, the first being at PPL Park in Chester PA this past June, where they played a free concert after the USA Sevens Rugby Championship... And, I was glad to see them a 2nd time, because they were great once again! Yellowcard are so much better than other terrible pop-punk bands like Good Charlotte and Fall Out Boy, there's absolutely no comparing Yellowcard to those 2 hacks! They put on a great show and have a great sense of humor! As for the openers- due to the horrible nightmare that is Friday night Philadelphia rush hour traffic, I missed the Sandlot Heroes, but I enjoyed The Wonder Years.. I didn't really care for We Are The In Crowd Please see Yellowcard if you ever have a chance! They are a perfect example of pop-punk done right!

Yellowcard was AMAZING!!!!

The venue was amazing being on the roof of the Cosmopolitan made this event even better. The band kept coming out on the balcolny and throwing memorabilia out to fans. The only problem was the excess of drunk concert goers. This was my 3rd Yellowcard concert and this is the only one in which I saw women putting their hands on men (who were getting pushed mind you) and the bouncers would repremand the man for doing nothing. I didn't care too much for the DJ before the concert I feel he was unnecessary and he being late caused the concert to start later.

Yellowcard put on an unbelievable show!

The first half of the concert, Yellowcard performed their new, acoustic version of their breakthrough album Ocean Avenue. Already, the performance was everything I dreamed it would be. But then, as they neared the end of the album, they said there would be a short break while they bust out their electrics for a second set of their other songs. My friend and I were beside ourselves. We expected them to play the whole album, as advertised, but we didn't anticipate hearing their other stuff too! And sure enough, 20 minutes went by and they came out and blew the roof off the place for another 8 or so songs. As a bonus, I scored VIP tickets to the event, so my friend and I got posters and CDs of their new acoustic album and a meet & greet with the band! They even had some pretty good hot dogs at the venue. Hands down, one of the best I've ever been to. Tenouttaten!

Don't miss your chance to see this show!

Anytime a band has a special acoustic show, or one in which they play a favorite album in its entirety, I'm there. I love shows like this one for the very reason that you have a band who knows their success came from their first CD, in this case the ocean avenue album. Fans know every word to that, many of them from the 7th grade. They don't shy away from that and say they've grown as artists, they give the fans what they know and love and they genuinely seem to enjoy every bit of it. They performed such a lively set for the acoustic session, and came back out on stage a few minutes after and hardcore rocked out. Jumping, moshing, crazy melt your face off sounds. Like so good. Do not miss this.

The evening was def one for the books

I couldn't be even more ecstatic for this event. It actually landed on my birthday. I was also able to take my son to his first concert. It turned out to be better then I thought. We originally had second tier tickets and my son ended up winning VIP tickets right behind the sound booth. So I basically went to see my favorite high school band, Yellowcard, from second tier seating to floor seats, plus free pop and a free drink. The venue was amazing and intimate. I wouldn't mind seeing anyone in concert there. Prolly the best inside venue I've been to. Plus it was beyond beautiful place. I recommend everyone to go to this place for anything.
